Allgotths history
In June 2010, the doors were opened to what is today Allgotths Glassbar. The name has changed during the journey but the product never has. It has been the same owner from the start, and we have realized along the way that we have the world’s most fun job. Rättviksglass was the reason we opened the ice cream bar from the start. Henryk, who is Mr. Rättviksglass, is a good friend and was the one who thought that Stockholm needed an ice cream bar with Swedish ice cream from Dalarna. Peter, who (thankfully) had just been offered a location, thought it was a fun idea. Said and done… quickly JM’s old showroom shop was converted into an ice cream bar with the Dalarna theme, which is still our hallmark today. We have had such a fun journey with wonderful both large and small guests who have found their favorites at the counter.
The flavors have evolved and become more numerous and will continue to do so, which is why in 2021 we bought larger serving freezers so everyone can have a chance to have just their favorite in the counter. We have also expanded the range with coffee/tea, soda, soft ice cream, milkshake, flurry, slush, iced coffee, and many different sprinkles and sauces for the ice cream. We wish for everyone to feel welcome and to be able to enjoy a moment of pleasure from their favorite ice cream.
Allgotths celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2020, and we look forward to many more years of serving you what we consider to be the world’s most delicious ice cream.
